Set against the sweeping landscapes of the Flathead Indian Reservation, Indigenous youth transform new skateparks into sanctuaries of hope, resilience, and joy — one drop-in at a time.

PAVING THE WAY follows 20 year old Alison Kelly, a skateboarder, seamstress, and artist whose journey embodies creativity and determination. As she recovers from a surprising injury, Ali channels her healing into traditional art-making: tanning hides, crafting moccasins, and beading regalia by hand, all while yearning to return to the skateboard that once saved her. Through Ali's story and the voices of other young skaters across the Reservation, the film reveals how skateboarding becomes connection to inner resilience, artistic expression, and landscapes that teach us to try, fail, and try again.

COLECTIVO: The First Year - Documentary Short (Series) - Director & Editor - 2026

Tribeca Studios, Luis A. Miranda, Jr. & Lin-Manuel Miranda, the Miranda Family Fellowship, and the Hispanic Federation launched the COLECTIVO program to support and empower a generation of new Latino storytellers and bring Latinx stories to audiences. The program selected a cohort of three emerging filmmaking teams to receive funding, mentorship, and the opportunity to world premiere an original short film at the 2025 Tribeca Festival. Three selected projects from the first year were: LAS HIJAS DE ROSALIA, EL TIGUERE and VILLA ENCANTO.

In 1989, the NEA became a battleground for the cultural war in the United States between conservatives and liberals after two NEA sponsored grants were deemed to fund “obscene” art. EVERYTHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN explores this vicious political fight between the two parties and follows the Trump administration’s influence in the continuing conflict. A timely film that brings the viewer in and forces the question of where to draw the line when it comes to contentious issues.
